Recognizing Student Success
Kettleby P.S. is proud of all of its students. It is part of our culture to recognize student achievement on an ongoing basis. We recognize the efforts and accomplishments of our students in various ways, including:

  • Publication of the accomplishments in a classroom or school newsletter
  • Students share their work with peers, other classes or parents
  • Student led conferences conducted during the first term
  • Recognition assemblies
  • Honour lists posted in the school
  • Morning Announcements to highlight accomplishments
  • Recognition for Behaviour or Work Habits that have improved
  • School Awards presented at grade 8 graduation
  • Tabs presented for participation in various student activities
  • "Kettleby K" award presented in the student's final year for a high level of participation

Student Leadership
Student leadership is the foundation of all school initiatives that benefit our student population and community. Kettleby P.S. is proud to support the following student leadership opportunities:

  • Student Council
  • Reading Buddies
  • Charity Work (Pop tabs for a wheel chair, pennies for UNICEF)
