Audit Committee
In accordance with the Education Act: Regulation 361/10, Audit Committees each school board is required to establish an audit committee.
The Audit Committee of the York Region District School Board is responsible for providing assurance to the Board of Trustees that the Board has the appropriate culture, personnel, policies, systems and controls in place to safeguard the Board’s assets and to accurately report financial information to internal and external users.
