The YRDSB Moodle site is an online learning site provided for teachers and students. Course materials, forums, blogs and other online tools are provided to all teachers and students in our schools.

Bitstrips for Schools
Bitstrips for Schools is a web-based educational tool allowing students to create their own comic strips without having to draw. Students can engage in narrative and storytelling techniques by designing custom characters, adding scenes and props, and including words, actions, and emotions to depict their story. Afterwards, peers can share, remix, and comment on completed comics.

Naxos Music Library
The Naxos Online Music Library offers classroom teachers and students more than 47,000 CD-length recordings, notes, resources, and teachers and students can create playlists.

NFB (National Film Board)
NFB (National Film Board) contains over 1500 full-length films, trailers and clips online, free for personal use and on a subscription basis for schools and institutions.

MediaSmarts: MediaSmarts, contains resources and support for everyone interested in media literacy and digital literacy with materials on a wide range of media, including Internet, television, film, video games, newspapers, advertising and popular music.

Online Math Homework Help - Grades 7 to 10
Online Math Homework Help - Grades 7 to 10: The Ontario Ministry of Education and the Independent Learning Centre has partnered together to bring a new online resource called Homework Help to students. This year, all Ontario Mathematics students enrolled in Gr. 7 - 10 have access to this resource. Students log on to Homework Help and using an interactive chat room and electronic whiteboard, they can obtain personalized tutoring from a certified Ontario Mathematics teacher. Students also have access to resources such as videos, presentations, interactive tutorials, a virtual locker and a glossary.
Login Information: Students will need their OEN number and date of birth to register. It is recommended students use an anonymous username and password when registering.

French as a Second Language Homework Toolbox: This website has been provided to support parents with children in French as a Second Language (FSL) programs, (e.g., Core and French Immersion) by the Ontario Ministry of Education and the Government of Canada, through the Department of Canadian Heritage, in collaboration with the Rainbow District School Board.

Learn360:The Learn360 service offers materials selected to provide targeted curriculum support from a variety of educational video producers such as TVO, Nelvana, PBS, National Geographic, Standard Deviants, Slim Goodbody, Sunburst Media, and others. The service includes thousands of educational videos, video clips, newsreels, audio and video files, and still images. All of the fulllength videos and video clips are aligned to Provincial standards.
