Read/Print instructions below before proceeding.
  • Select 5 compulsory courses on the chart above.
  • Click the Continue >> button below to return to the home page.

  • Select the equivalent of 3 OPTIONAL courses from the online Course Calendar. A list of available courses by department will appear on the home page of this website. By clicking on the 'Add' button next to your course selections, you will add these courses to your Knapsack.

  • Also, select 2 ALTERNATE courses from the list of available courses. These alternatives will be automatically placed into your schedule if courses are not available.

  • Once your selections are complete, return to the Vaughan Home Page and select Show Knapsack to view your course selections. If all course selections are correct, click Prepare to Print.

  • Leave all of your compulsory and elective courses coded as '0'.
  • Code your alternative courses as 1 and 2 on the Show Knapsack page, depending on your order of preference.

  • You must select a minimum of 8 credits plus 2 alternatives.
  • Print your course selections and obtain the appropriate signatures.
