In order to fulfill the requirements for a high school diploma, the York Region District School Board strongly recommends that grade nine students study the following subjects:

* As recommended by the Elementary School and based on program requirements.
** For English Language Learners (ELL) with less than 120 instructional hours in French.
***Students in the Experienced Instrumental Program (AMI1O) will also be assigned to Repertoire (AMR1O), a full year credit that runs outside of regular school hours in the form of rehearsals.
