Student Leadership

Student achievement is the foundation of all school initiatives that benefit our student population and community. One important vehicle for student improvement is involvement and participation in school life. Our Student Council, with Prime Minister and Cabinet, as well as representatives from each grade, have an active voice and role in school events. Our Character Education and Eco school student committees support and drive a variety of positive, community and character building initiative in our school.

At HBPS, we invite, encourage, and facilitate student ownership and leadership through various means, including co-operative group classroom activities, partnering amongst students and classrooms, participation in extracurricular happenings, "train the trainer" sessions, assisting with the organization of various environmental and other activities and initiatives, etc.
