The Mission of Our School The Mission of the York Region District School Board is that "we unite in our purpose to inspire and prepare learners for life in our changing world community."
The foundation of Sir William Mulock Secondary School is built upon four cornerstones to support the Board's Mission. These cornerstones are: Academic Excellence; Character Education; Communities – Local and Global; and Mental and Physical Well-being.
History Sir William Mulock S.S. was officially opened in 2001. The school is named after Sir William Mulock, an extraordinary Canadian. His accomplishments as first Postmaster General of Canada, Chief Justice of the Ontario Supreme Court and Chancellor of the University of Toronto for twenty years are an inspiration for students, staff and community to "soar to excellence".
Our school motto is "Soaring to Excellence"
Our school mascot is the Raven.
Our school colours are black, gold and white.
