The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest health sciences centre devoted to mental illness and addiction.  The CAMH has a clinical role caring for people with severe mental illness and addiction, with an inpatient capacity of more than 600 beds and extensive hospital and community-based outpatient services. Community Legal Clinic of York Region This resource may be able to help with housing issues for tenants, Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, and Employment Insurance Matters. There is no charge for their services, as they are here to serve and provide legal aid to the low income sector. The Clinic does not offer assistance with criminal cases or with family law. For such cases, they suggest you contact the Legal Aid Ontario offices.

LOFT Crosslinks Housing and Support Services Crosslinks is committed to assisting men and women 16 to 64, with serious mental illness and addiction challenges, to live with dignity in the community. Services include assessment of needs, advocacy, crisis intervention and prevention, teaching life skills such as nutrition, cooking, budgeting and household management, and referral to other service providers as needed.

Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres Providing assessment, treatment and follow-up for all substance dependencies. The centres specialize in opiate dependence (heroin, morphine etc.) and methadone maintenance therapy. The program is based on an intensive outpatient model, over a 12-24 month period.

Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) is intended to meet the needs of people with disabilities and help them to become more independent.
Contact the Special Education Department at your school for advice on completing the ODSP application.
The Ministry advises the family of the applicant to begin the process six month prior to the applicants 18th birthday by contacting the local OSDP Office.
