Now in its 15th year, the "Quest" series of conferences have become internationally known for outstanding keynote, panel, and workshop presentations provided at a most reasonable registration cost. Up to 1000 presenters and participants from England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, the United States, the Netherlands and of course Canada have united at Quest for the common purpose of improving the achievement for all students. Quest 2009, "The Quest for Improved Student Achievement: Designing and Building Cultures for Deeper Learning" will highlight the research, theory and proven practice of Michael Fullan (Canada), Tony MacKay (Australia), Alma Harris (United Kingdom), Doug Reeves (United States), Alan Luke (Australia) and additional outstanding educator presenters. Participants will have a variety of opportunities to learn, reflect, discuss and respond to strategies that shift culture to deeper learning. On-line registration is available much earlier than in the past (May 1st/09) to respond to the current economic climate, and the interest that registrants might have in ensuring a place at Quest 2009. For those who register prior to September 1st, 2009 there is an incentive of pro-rated early bird registration fees. For more Quest information please contact Dean Bodkin, Quest Conference Coordinator at 905 727-0022 extension 3629, or dean.bodkin@yrdsb.edu.on.ca
