The Board Improvement Work Plan (BIP) sets specific operational direction to ensure the goals of the Trustees’ Multi-Year Plan and the Director’s Annual Plan are achieved. Updated annually, the BIP reflects our system’s continued commitment to improve achievement and well being for our students. It is based on the fundamental belief that each student can learn, given time and support.

The BIP provides the framework for individual School Improvement Plans and Department Improvement Plans, each with its own measurable goals and targets which are monitored throughout the year and revised annually. The BIP is the means by which the Board holds itself accountable for improvements in student achievement and well being.
