This area of the Board’s website has been created to provide you with the latest information on H1N1 Flu. The Board is working in close cooperation with York Region Community and Health Services. The Board is ready and able to take whatever advice or action regional health authorities recommend to reduce the risk to our school communities. At this point in time, York Region Community and Health Services is no longer reporting individual cases to the Board. The following standard practices continue: - daily student absenteeism reports to York Region Community and Health Services for all schools;
- daily routine cleaning and disinfecting in all schools; and
- reinforcement of measures to prevent the spread of the influenza and other infections.
Therefore, at this point in time, letters will not be sent home for individual cases. Please continue to check this area of the website for any updates.
