Early Child Development and Parenting Programs

Parenting and Family Literacy Centres

Parenting and Family Literacy Centres are school-based programs in which parents and children, birth to six years of age, participate in engaging learning experiences that support the development of the child and the early acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills. The programs are fully-funded by the Ministry of Education, and are located in high-needs neighbourhoods.

All Our Kids (AOK) Programs

These programs provide families with information, programs and links to services for children aged birth to six years old. AOK Early Child Development and Parenting Programs are operated by community agencies and funded by York Region.
