The electronic translation service on the York Region District School Board's website is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
The York Region District School Board does not guarantee the quality, accuracy or completeness of any translated information. Before you act on translated information, the Board encourages you to confirm any facts that are important to you and affect any decisions you may make.

Registrations will also be accepted at Dr. Bette Stephenson Centre for Learning Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm., if paying by cash or cheque only. Print and complete the registration form

Course Fees/ Refunds
Refund requests or withdrawal from a course must be made before the second scheduled class by writing to the site where the course is offered or by emailing continuing.education@yrdsb.edu.on.ca.
Withdrawals after the first class, but before the second class will be subject to a $20.00 non-refundable administration fee.
There are no refunds after the second class.
Non attendance is not accepted as a withdrawal from any course.
General Interest Courses do not qualify for a tax receipt.
Discounts
Senior citizens (65 years of age or over) enrolled in a general interest course will receive a 15% discount. If the course has a limit of 15 students or less there will be no discount. Seniors need to pay the course fee when registering and request the discount from the Site Administrator on the first night of class. Seniors will need to show proof of age. Seniors are required to pay supply fees if applicable.
Class Size
A minimum of 15 adult students is necessary to form a General Interest class. In some classes the minimum class size will vary.
General Interest classes are designed for adult students, aged 18 and over.
